Administrative assistant with strong customer service skills needed to join small team in a home office scenario. Quiet office but very friendly and team-oriented.
Company is comprised of 3 people (owner, her son, another admin) and this role will add to the team. The office is above the garage but the bathroom is in the home. Candidate MUST be comfortable with that scenario.
The company documents and licenses vessels for pleasure and commercial clients. There is a lot of confidential information, a lot of numbers and a lot of attention to detail required.
Position supports the office in handling:
- Phones: must have an upbeat, friendly and professional phone manner; will be answering inbound calls and making outbound calls
- Data Entry: will be completing online forms, handling social security numbers and banking/credit card information. Must be extremely accurate and have very strong attention to detail!
- Administrative: organizing the office as needed; processing government paperwork; assisting with Registry paperwork; assisting with banking forms, etc.
- Customer Service: will be making and receiving calls to banks, attorneys, brokers for information; will eventually be explaining their services to attorneys, etc. so must have strong communication skills
Their business runs on numbers: boat numbers, social security numbers, banking information, etc. Candidate must be comfortable working with numbers and have extreme attention to detail. Must also be organized and like organizing as needed.
Ideal candidate has some office experience, excellent customer service skills and aptitude to learn and pick up everything they'll learn.
