The HR & Payroll Administrative Coordinator will perform administrative functions for HR and payroll.            

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES - ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:             (Other duties may be assigned)

  • Maintain positive employee relations
  • Assist with payroll
  • Assist with employee benefits questions and open enrollment
  • Assist with hiring and separation (includes all paperwork and interviews
  • associated with each function)
  • Track performance during the first 90 days of employment as well as annual reviews and increases
  • Coordinate FMLA and disability leaves
  • Disseminates new or changes in policy or procedure
  • Complete all forms received from government agencies (Unemployment, etc.)
  • Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reporting as required

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Internal

  • Managers supervisors and all other employees at the plant level
  • Corporate Accounting

External

  • Payroll company, benefits broker and insurance companies
  • Government agencies such as Unemployment

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2+ years of  Payroll, administrative or HR experience, preferably in manufacturing
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Above average Microsoft word, excel and power point and other systems skills

Thirty hour work week - eligible for benefits
