Confident, critical thinking customer service/admin needed for a logistics T2H position.
Will work in a shared office space with one other Transportation Coordinator (to be hired by client soon). Position is responsible for cross-referencing trip sheets and logistics information from sales reps, vendors and customers.
Attention to detail and critical thinking (i.e. "think on your feet") is HUGE in this role along with a strong personality and confident customer service skills. Will be dealing with serial numbers on machinery, dates, times, etc. Very little room for error.
Position requires heavy outbound calls to truck drivers, sales reps and customers. Can be stressful at times as you'll be delivering updates (oftentimes bad news related to the delivery of machinery, etc.) that aren't always expected.
Must be responsible with strong aptitude to learn and grow. Must also be flexible with hours and open to staying later if needed and maybe log-in from home at night to check statuses, etc.
Client is looking for the right personality versus skill-set.
Must have strong Excel and know Outlook.
